In keeping with the Governor’s Proclamation quoted (in part) above, we have focused this month on Leadership in Preparedness.

We have been fortunate to receive and pass along excellent guest articles from Jeremy Stillwell, and Don MacSparran (click on their names to read).  Last week we discussed the danger of two extremes as we advocated preparedness in the spirit of wisdom and moderation (click link to read).

Each week this month we have urged each person in a leadership position to pursue a course of action that begins with our own personal response to comply with the request of our governing authorities - and also to provide leadership to those we serve, so that they too will each do the same.

We conclude this topic by providing several web links to resources for those who desire practical assistance when pursuing a course of preparation. The following will direct you to a number of helpful articles and resources:

US Federal Government preparedness resources at FEMA website.

Red Cross preparedness resources at Red Cross website.

Helpful blog Article from Seattle Children’s Hospital website.

Excellent article on Earthquake Safety by Bob Brown, owner of Superior Community Management in Portland Oregon.

Additional helpful resource links from the “Make it Through” website.

We trust that the insights from our guest authors this month, and the links to additional resources provided above, will be helpful for those who see the wisdom in encouraging every person to be prepared - and who therefore take the appropriate steps to do so.
